ROS Legacy release date
ROS Legacy release date is still unpublished. The official site is in Open Beta. Official Release is the next roadmap phase with no day, month, or year attached. Alpha Test, Pre-Closed Beta Test, and Closed Beta are marked completed. Third-party calendars that print a 2026 launch day are not from roslegacy.net. Myth Games still lists the game Under Development on its directory, which disagrees with the live Open Beta homepage. Use the five official phases below, then ignore countdown blogs.

Open Beta is live, Official Release is next
The homepage roadmap is a five-step strip. Alpha Test is completed: closed internal testing of core gameplay, movement, and combat. Pre-Closed Beta Test is completed: a small early tester group stressed servers, balance, and matchmaking. Closed Beta is completed: invite-only access for a wider tester group. Open Beta is Live: free and open to everyone, described as the final testing milestone before full launch. Official Release is Next: full launch across platforms with the complete arsenal and ranked seasons, and the blurb states no calendar date.
That last sentence is the whole answer to 'when does it come out'. There is no hidden day in the JSON-LD either. Queries for ros legacy 2026, ros legacy coming soon, and ros legacy mobile release date all collapse to the same fact: Open Beta is playable now, Official Release is undated.
Click through the five phases on this page and read the official blurbs. Completed means those tests already happened. Live means you can play. Next means later, without a day. That vocabulary is the whole roadmap. Adding a clock to Next is fan work, not Mirae Labs work.
Myth Games directory still says Under Development
chain.mythgames.net still shows ROS Legacy as Under Development on PC. That row is a publisher-directory leftover. The playable product is the Open Beta on roslegacy.net with a Windows ZIP dated in the filename 202609251811 and an Android APK modified 18 September 2026. When the directory and the homepage disagree, the homepage and the live files win.
ros.mythgames.net was the former official page. That host no longer completes TLS. It is not a second game and it is not a second release date. Archived snapshots of that page still help for zone names and squad jobs; they do not override the live Open Beta label.
Directory rows lag. Under Development was accurate when the Myth Games page was the live site. It is not accurate next to an 8.25 GB Open Beta ZIP. Quote the directory as a historical breadcrumb if you are tracing the publisher, not as a lockout.
Ignore random calendars
The official Facebook page has already told players not to trust rumor dates. Discord is the channel named for test and release news: discord.gg/roslegacy, guild ROS: Legacy, 81,223 members and 6,965 online when counted. If a Google result prints 15 November or 'full launch this week', check whether roslegacy.net moved Official Release off 'Next'. Until that text changes, there is no day.
Mobile does not have a separate store date. There is no App Store listing and no Play listing, so 'mobile release date' is the same undated Official Release line plus the already-live Android APK. iOS remaining out of stores does not create a second calendar.
A well-ranked blog can still be wrong about the day. Check whether roslegacy.net still prints Official Release without a date. If it does, the blog invented the day. Discord will move first when that text changes, because that is the channel the operator pointed at.
When Official Release finally gets a day, it will be printed on roslegacy.net and repeated in ROS: Legacy Discord. Until both of those move, a blog date is a rumor. Play the live ZIP instead of waiting on a calendar cell.
What Open Beta actually gives you
You can download the Windows ZIP, sideload the Android APK, make a Mirae Labs account, and queue Solo, Duo, or Squad in a 100-player shrinking circle. Ranked Seasons are listed as a feature with a resetting leaderboard. Advanced Anti-Cheat is listed on the live site; the archived page named the same job Aegis Anti-Cheat.
None of that requires waiting for Official Release. The next phase adds the 'complete arsenal and ranked seasons' language from the official blurb, still without a date. Play Open Beta if you want the game this week; watch Discord if you want the day it stops being called beta.
Open Beta already includes the 100-player drop, the three queues, and the storm. Waiting for Official Release only makes sense if you want the “complete arsenal and ranked seasons” sentence from the official next-phase blurb. Plenty of players will just keep dropping now.
If you only care about a store badge, you will wait. If you care about dropping 100 players tonight, Open Beta already has the files.
